IPA CIS is an advisory body for preparation of draft legislative documents of mutual interest to the nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In its activity the Interparliamentary Assembly attaches the greatest importance to the issues related with harmonization and rapprochement of legislations of the Commonwealth states. This work is implemented in the shape of model legislative acts and recommendations adopted by the Interparliamentary Assembly whose elaboration considers the experience of the parliaments of the Commonwealth countries and international parliamentary organizations.
