The eHealth business cluster TICBioMed organises a competition for rewarding the best eHealth solution of 2012 produced by an European small and medium enterprise (SME). Country coordinators to support the competition's management are called for; the deadline for expressions of interest is 20 November 2011.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Society (MCSI) has launched a call for eHealth projects under the Operational Programme 3.2.4 - 'Supporting the implementation of eHealth solutions and ensuring broadband connection, where necessary' at local level.

2 546 private doctors throughout Greece who collaborate with the state-run Farmer's Pension Fund (OGA) have joined the Electronic Prescription System (Σύστημα Ηλεκτρονικής Συνταγογράφησης - Σ.Η.Σ., in Greek) of the Insurance Organisation of the Self-Employed (OAEE).
