The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Trajko Veljanoski and the Ambassador of Switzerland in the Republic of Macedonia Nicole Wyrsch signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the project “Support of the Establishment and Development of the Parliamentary Institute”.

The Parliamentary Institute will be working within the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in order for the Assembly to have sustainable and independent body for legislative research, to build a professional and expert team of independent and non-partisan experts which will support the Members of Parliament in the legislative processes; the Assembly in networking with similar international services; the monitoring and the active participations of the Assembly in the harmozization of the Macedonian laws with the Euro-Atlantic norms and standards.
