The World e-Parliament Conference 2012 is co-organized by the United Nationsand the Inter-Parliamentary Union  through the Global Centre for ICT in Parliament and hosted by the Chamber of Deputies of Italy.

The World e-Parliament Conference 2012 will take place in different meeting rooms of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy  in Rome on Thursday 13 September and Friday 14 September 2012. The Conference will start at 9 a.m. on 13 September with the Inaugural Session, followed by High-level Panels in plenary. It will continue in parallel sessions in the afternoon of 13 September and throughout 14 September. In the morning of 15 September participants will reconvene in plenary for the concluding High-level Panels. 

Guided tours of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy will take place at the end of the second day.

All panels and sessions will be interactive with ample time for debate after the initial presentations of the invited speakers (presiding officers, members and parliamentary officials, international experts and representatives from international organizations and the civil society).

During the World e-Parliament Conference simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish.

12 September: Delegates can collect their badges from 4 pm to 8 pm at the main entrance of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy in Piazza di Montecitorio
Embassies are encouraged to collect the badges of their delegations in advance as well to facilitate the accreditation process.

13 September: Accreditation and badging start at 8:00 am
