Practical information: Identifying benefits deriving from the adoption of XML-based chains for drafting legislation

 

Participants

Participants will be Directors of IT Departments, Project Managers, Analysts and key clients directly involved in the use of XML-related IT tools. Representatives from the academic world will contribute their expertise to the discussion.

 

Languages and documentation

The meeting will be conducted in English. No interpretation will be provided in any other languages.

The Agenda, Aide mémoire and List of participants will be provided in electronic format in advance of the meeting to registered participants and distributed on paper at the meeting.

 

Dates and venue

The workshop will take place on 3 and 4 May 2012 at the European Parliament premises in Brussels. The meeting room is JAN 6Q1, located on the 6th floor of the József Antall building (JAN).

 

Entrance badges

Badges will be given to the participants at the entrance of the József Antall building on the first day of the workshop.

For identification and security reasons, all participants are requested to wear their entrance badges at all times during the conference and when in the European Parliament buildings.

If you lose your entrance badge, please report to the registration desk at the main entrance on the ground floor of the ASP building. Kindly note that issuance of new badges can be time-consuming. We therefore strongly recommend you take good care of it.

 

Visas

Participants are responsible for verifying their own visa requirements and securing visas if needed. The OPPD can provide participants with personalised invitations if required. 

 

Accommodation

Participants are required to make their own bookings. Hotels in the immediate vicinity (at a walkable distance) of the European Parliament are:

Meals

Lunches will be offered by the OPPD on Thursday 3 May and Friday 4 May and will take place in a salon of the Members' Restaurant on Floor 0 of the Altiero Spinelli building (ASP).
