At the request of the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Global Centre for ICT in Parliament fielded a technical assistance mission to analyse the current use of information and communication technologies in the Parliament of Sierra Leone, from 21 to 25 November 2011. The mission focused on the assessment of the state of technology of the parliament taking into consideration the existing parliamentary process, procedures and organizational framework. The mission was undertaken with the collaboration of one IT expert from UK Parliament.
