LV: eSignature portal offers enhanced method for PIN change

A new PIN change procedure has recently been introduced on the eSignature portal to enable users to deal with lost or forgotten PINs in a user-friendly manner.

To change a lost or forgotten PIN, a user is required to go to the 'My Data' section of the eSignature portal and select the 'PIN Change' option. A PIN
It is necessary to enter a PIN when signing documents with a virtual eSignature on the portal. When wishing to use an eSignature for the first time, a person has to create a unique eight-character PIN known only by the person setting it up. Since the Latvia State Radio and Television Centre (LVRTC) does not receive a copy of the PIN created and does not store it, the PIN can only be changed by the user of the eSignature portal.
Along with the PIN change optimisation, the portal has also improved the change of email addresses registered on it. This can also be performed via 'My Data' by selecting the 'Change E-mail' option and entering the PIN.
