The World e-Parliament Conference 2008 took place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 25 and 26 November 2008. The Conference was co-organized by the European Parliament and the Global Centre for ICT in Parliament, a joint initiative of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and a core group of partners, established in 2006 to promote the role of parliaments in advancing the Information Society goals as well as the effective use of ICT for the modernization of parliamentary processes. Rapport mondial 2010 sur l’e-Parlement
Les Nations Unies et l'Union interparlementaire ont publié le Rapport mondial 2010 sur l'e-Parlement. Le Rapport, préparé par le Centre mondial pour les TIC au Parlement, vise à aider les législatures à tirer profit des bénéfices potentiels des TIC dans leur travail et à établir les objectifs et priorités clés pour exploiter cette importante ressource. Tout en mettant en évidence la complexité de l'e-parlement, le Rapport suggère des voies et moyens de surmonter certains des obstacles à l'utilisation effective de la technologie dans l'environnement parlementaire.
