On 16 February 2013, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski stated that in less than a year a project has created the basis of several eGovernment services.

On 29 August 2012, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivailo Moskovski, signed seven contracts relating to the provision of an electronic identification (eID) system and other eGovernment services.

From 1 January 2012, all Bulgarian hospitals will be required to log births in the electronic register (eRegister) of the Ministry of Health.

A project that developed eGovernment in the regions and municipalities of Northern Bulgaria was recently completed.

From 1 November 2011, all hospitals will be required to log their invasive cardiology interventions in an electronic register (eRegister). The aim is to enhance the monitoring of invasive cardiology activities in Bulgaria so as to ensure better quality and safety in the treatment of patients.

A register for the electronic identity (eIdentity) of the users of government services and an identity management system (IDM) will be created within the framework of a new project of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (Министерството на транспорта, информационните технологии и съобщенията - MTITC, in Bulgarian).
